Tami graduated from Carthage College in Wisconsin with a major in Business Administration and Public Relations.
After 5 years as human resources manager in the medical field, she became a regional sales manager for Colt Firearms. Her region included Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma and included 6 distributors and over 300 retail accounts. Her sales achievement included increasing her territory from $7.1 million in 1993 to $10.2 million in 1994. Tami performed over 75 in-store promotions and sales training seminars per year.
